Is there anyone that doesn't carry some spiritual baggage? John and I were a part of an Anglican/Episcopal congregation in Sarajevo and learned to love the liturgy. I guess each path has it's own beauty.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732346497235604240.post-90219690486630915722007-11-05T19:50:00.000-05:002007-11-05T19:50:00.000-05:00I'm glad you had this warm experience. I think what we've figured out is that we're more tied to the Mennonite cultural practices than we are the religious aspect (even though I know they're tightly entwined).

There's also this longing to give my kids the familiarity of the rituals that I had as a kid, because they're a significant part of me. But, maybe the most important part is the ritual itself, and not necessarily that they are the same as mine. Nonetheless, this is what keeps us going to church (that and Mali LOVES it).

I hope you are filled up in this new community.kclblogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03735600447674229841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732346497235604240.post-62869270795393765152007-11-05T10:54:00.000-05:002007-11-05T10:54:00.000-05:00Beautiful!!!Beautiful!!!Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16943623727902992714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732346497235604240.post-26079549121898849922007-11-04T17:50:00.000-05:002007-11-04T17:50:00.000-05:00Good news!
