milestones

It's time I share with you two major milestones in Sophie's life that I have been looking forward to since she was still a little bean inside my belly.

Her first pair of Chuck Taylors

And dress up.This morning she walked into the living room looking very much as she does in the above picture, waved to me and said, "bye bye."

(is she really old enough to be doing that??)

I can't believe how round her face looks with the scarf pushing her cheeks up and the hat pushing her cheeks down!

Thank you, Katie. Excellent advice that I need to keep in mind, especially as the temper tantrums are beginning... that might be my next blog post.

I must know where the shoes came from. Not sure I want to get lace-ups for Veronica, because it's tough to get shoes on her at all, but still, I must know.

Quite adorable. Ella likes to put my scarf on and drag the long pieces behind her. What hams they are! The other day she insisted on putting her coat on to go somewhere - where I don't know, probably to see Papa - and was furious with me when I wouldn't take her!

I quite adore the picture of dress up. Her look says " car keys please, $20 and an OJ to go"
