This comment is in reference to your book list posting:
I just finished Dakota by K. Norris last week. Wow, what a wonderful book to read as a SoDak expat. It was more about Western Dakota, but I still totally connected with her landscape and small town culture descriptions. All that monastery/spiritual journey stuff was interesting too. I highly recommend it.

Very cute indeed. What fun to watch her personality emerge in new and fun ways. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. We can't way to see her here in Freeman in about a month!

okay, it was for gma and gpa... but I thoroughly enjoyed it as well! Adorable! What milestones! Beautiful! (And just for the record, I did giggle at seeing Roy in a tie. Somewhere in my mind, despite the fact that he is married, a dad, and I'm sure a very productive and functioning part of society.... I still have the image of him at MMPR's. Not bad at all. Just different. And rarely I still picture you with a shaved head. Ahhh memories...)

Rae, for the record, it's strange NOT to see Roy in a tie these days! Since he wears one to work every day and has a serious issue with changing clothes, it's not rare to walk in on him taking a nap, fully decked out in a pink shirt, striped tie, and dress pants!

Oh yeah on Roy and the tie.
We've become accustomed to being surprised if we DON'T see Roy in a tie in nearly every setting.

Oh my gosh... I can totally relate to this video! The whole where-is-your-nose-and-baby-is-still-answering-the-last-question thing... funny stuff! I love this age, don't you?
